Corra is seeking a highly motivated Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our organization in our NYC or Montclair, NJ office.  The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years technical recruiting experience and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with the recruitment team on the recruitment strategy for Corra as well as provide full life-cycle recruitment globally for all our offices. The primary responsibilities of this role is proactive sourcing, screening, interviewing, and identifying the ideal candidate for a position within our organization. You will partner with our hiring managers in order to understand their particular organizational hiring needs, drive the recruiting pipeline and provide transparent and consistent updates on recruiting progress.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full life-cycle technical recruiting; source, recruit, review resumes, qualify/interview candidates, recommend initial first round of interviews, and ensure a world-class candidate experience while managing the source-to-offer strategy for each candidate

  • Partner with hiring managers across all departments to determine hiring needs based on business/project projections and budget analysis. Understands key position requirements (i.e. experience, technical knowledge/skill set, technical competencies, etc.) Ensures hiring managers are in compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations

  • Maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates by proactively using creative sourcing strategies, both internally & externally, to identify and attract competitive candidates.  This can be done via LinkedIn, college & external job boards, community network events, referrals, internal employees, online resources, etc.

  • Manage internal interviewing process including screening candidates (by phone and in person), administer appropriate assessments, coordination of interview with hiring manager & key players, following up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status, review interviewers' recommendations and participate in selection/decision-making (hiring) discussions, perform reference checks

  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with hiring managers and candidates to ensure achievement of staffing goals

  • Establishing yourself as trusted partner and point of contact on talent acquisition related matters for the organization

  • Communicate important employment information to candidates during interview process (i.e. benefits, culture, compensation, company policies, etc.)

  • Seek out memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to your role and the industry

  • Support HR team with the on boarding and new hire set up, HR file management and support with HR tasks as required

  • Develop content for job postings

  • Establish and manage recruiting events from open house to networking events to promote career opportunities at Corra

  • Assist with HR onboarding and training for new hires, as well as ad hoc HR tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-3 years in full life cycle technical recruiting experience required

  • Experience recruiting for a fast paced and high growth technology company in a competitive market is a required

  • Proven sourcing skills

  • Must possess a passion for recruiting with a deep desire to learn

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment

  • Polished and professional presentation and communication style; capable of communicating complex content in a succinct manner in-person, over the phone, and through written correspondence

  • Ability to eloquently and passionately pitch Corra to potential candidates

  • Must be results-oriented; customer-service focused and possess strong organizational skills

  • Experienced in building networks to find qualified competitive candidates

  • Demonstrated experience in change management, establishing trust and credibility, working independently, interviewing and negotiating skills

  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

  • Demonstrated success making hiring for a diverse range of roles, both technical and non-technical

  • Superior negotiating and closing skills

  • Must possess HR competencies including Initiative, organizational skills, time management and decision making
